A wood based panel manufactured from wood particles (such as chips and shavings) by pressing and binding through resin.
FAQ4 - Can I use chipboard outside?
No, chipboard is recommended for indoor applications only.
FAQ5 - What is the difference between a veneer and a melamine board product?
Melamine is a man-made product whereby varies decor options are scanned onto impregnated paper and fused onto a board. Veneer is a natural wood layer fused onto a board.
FAQ6 - What is the recommendation when transporting board products?
Board products must be adequately protected by a waterproof covering while being transported.
FAQ 7 - What is the best way to store chipboard and medium density fibreboard?
Like any other wood product, particleboard and medium density fibreboard (MDF) expand and contract as they pick up or lose moisture. Board products must be stored in dry conditions which are approximately the same conditions as its final use.
FAQ 8 - What is the recommend cleaning instructions for cleaning melamine cupboards?
Use soapy water or a commercial cleaner. The use of abrasives should be avoided.
FAQ 9 - What is the recommend cleaning instructions for cleaning laminated flooring?
Sweep, vacuum or wipe with a damp cloth or well wrung mop. Never apply water directly to the floor.
